Real heroes join Farhan Akhtar at grand Lucknow launch of ‘Dada Kishan Ki Jai’ from 120 Bahadur
The city of Lucknow witnessed a stirring celebration of courage and pride with the grand launch of 'Dada Kishan Ki Jai,' the first song from Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios’ upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur. The event, held amidst the presence of real-life heroes from the Battle of Rezang La, brought an emotional depth to the film’s patriotic theme.
The song, composed and produced by Salim–Sulaiman, penned by Javed Akhtar, and sung by Sukhwinder Singh, captures the indomitable spirit of the 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment who fought in the historic 1962 battle.
The launch event was attended by the film’s team, including Farhan Akhtar, along with Subedar (Honorary Captain) Ram Chander Yadav and Havildar Nihal Singh — real-life soldiers who fought at Rezang La. Also present were Narpat Singh, son of Major Shaitan Singh, PVC, and families of the martyred soldiers, adding a poignant layer to the celebration.
Sharing glimpses from the event on social media, the makers wrote, “A day filled with unforgettable moments with team 120 Bahadur in Lucknow,” as the crowd cheered with chants of pride and unity.
