Ayushmann Khurrana welcomes Aneet Padda to MHCU with Shakti Shalini: “So proud to see someone from Punjab making us all proud”

After delivering yet another hit with Thamma, Ayushmann Khurrana is celebrating not just his own success but also the arrival of a fresh new face in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). The actor took to Instagram to warmly welcome Gen Z star Aneet Padda, who joins the popular cinematic universe with the upcoming film Shakti Shalini.

The announcement of Shakti Shalini was revealed in the opening credits of Thamma, leaving fans intrigued about what’s next in Maddock’s ever-expanding horror-comedy world. Sharing his excitement, Ayushmann posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories along with a clip of the film’s announcement. He wrote, “Welcome to the MHCU, @aneetpadda… Punjabi aa gaye oye!! For the unversed, Shakti Shalini is the latest addition to Maddock Films’ highly successful horror-comedy universe, which began with Stree in 2018 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, followed by Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya and Sharvari starrer Munjya. Each film has expanded the interconnected universe with new characters and quirky supernatural twists, blending humor with horror in a way that has redefined the genre in Indian cinema.

Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: AIIMS panel submits conclusive findings to the CBI

For over three months, the country has been waiting to find out the reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. The actor died by suicide on June 14 and his family along with his industry colleagues were keen on a CBI inquiry. However, after a simulation of his room in his Bandra apartment, the CBI sought help from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Forensic Department.
