Zareen Khan recalls fangirl moment with Katrina Kaif at Race premiere: “I was just a wide-eyed fan”

On July 5, 2025, actress Zareen Khan took a walk down memory lane as she shared a heartfelt throwback video from the early days of her life, before she became a Bollywood actor. In the video, a young Zareen can be seen beaming with excitement as she receives an autograph from Katrina Kaif at the premiere of the 2008 film Race.

Taking to Instagram, Zareen captioned the clip with visible nostalgia: “Oh my Goddd! Came across this video, and the memory is still so fresh. I clearly remember this moment… it’s from the premiere of the movie Race. Thanks to a friend who got us passes, we were able to experience the magic firsthand. At that point, I was just a wide-eyed fan, never imagining I’d one day be a part of the film industry.”

The video captures a candid moment — a starstruck Zareen, full of admiration, grinning ear to ear as she approaches Katrina for an autograph. Reflecting on the memory, she added, “But look at how happy I am in this video, a total fangirl… grinning from ear to ear, getting an autograph from the woman I thought was and is breathtakingly beautiful!”

Interestingly, after her Bollywood debut with Veer in 2010, Zareen Khan was often compared to Katrina Kaif due to their striking resemblance, a comparison that followed her throughout the early phase of her career.

Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: AIIMS panel submits conclusive findings to the CBI

For over three months, the country has been waiting to find out the reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death. The actor died by suicide on June 14 and his family along with his industry colleagues were keen on a CBI inquiry. However, after a simulation of his room in his Bandra apartment, the CBI sought help from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Forensic Department. A team of four doctors led by Dr. Sudhir Gupta started looking into the late actor’s forensic and viscera reports. As per the reports, after a study of over 40 days, the panel of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has submitted its conclusive findings to the CBI. The panel had earlier nullified the angle of a murder and had assured that the reports were being examined in all the possible angles.
