Ashish Chanchlani confirms that his web series Ekaki will release this year for free on YouTube: “They deserve this, itna wait kiya hai”

Ashish Chanchlani, known for his parody sketches on YouTube, is now stepping into direction with his debut project, Ekaki. In a recent interview, he discussed the timeline and release platform of the web series, sparking interest among his followers.

When asked if his project will be released this year, Ashish said, “Ayega toh yehi saal. 100% meri koshish ye hai ke within the next 3 months release karoon. Ekaki ayega mere channel pe for free. I want to give it to the public for free. Meri janta ne itna support kiya hai, they deserve this itna wait kiya hai, they deserve to watch something big.”

Ashish was asked whether he would have a screening for Ekaki, to which he replied, "100%, ek episode toh meko fans ke sath dekhna hai.”

Ashish has unveiled the poster of Ekaki, which shows him holding a lantern and staring into a dark void, as black silhouettes of hands creep in from all sides, suggesting a supernatural theme. Featuring an ensemble cast, the poster adds to the mystery surrounding the project.

Apart from directing the horror-comedy Ekaki, Ashish Chanchlani is also starring in, writing, and producing the project, taking on multiple roles. Set to release on ACV Studios’ YouTube channel, the project marks his entry into filmmaking.
