Ibrahim Ali Khan shares family bond with Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan in unseen photos; watch

Ibrahim Ali Khan might have faced criticism for his debut in Nadaaniyan, but he has the strong backing of his family. Saif Ali Khan's sister, Saba Pataudi, recently posted a series of never-before-seen pictures of her nephew Ibrahim on social media, showcasing his close relationship with the Pataudi family.

In one heartfelt photo, Ibrahim sits beside his father, Saif Ali Khan, on a sofa, both in casual attire. While Saif gazes at him thoughtfully, Ibrahim is absorbed in his phone. Another picture shows him posing with his grandmother, the iconic actress Sharmila Tagore, by a peaceful poolside at the Pataudi palace. The final image features a festive family get-together, with Ibrahim alongside Sharmila Tagore, sister Sara Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, all dressed in traditional attire. Sharing these moments, Saba captioned the post: “Moments, Memories, and impromptu captures... Life. Family. Love. #happytimes.”

The photos appeared just weeks after Ibrahim’s debut film, Nadaaniyan, was released on Netflix on March 7. Co-starring Khushi Kapoor, the film created a lot of buzz but ultimately failed to meet expectations and was heavily criticized online.

During the promotion of her Bengali film Puratawn, Sharmila Tagore spoke frankly about Ibrahim's debut film. In an interview, she said, “Ibrahim’s film was not good, but he still looks very handsome. He has tried his best. These things shouldn’t be said in front of everyone, but honestly, the picture isn’t great. Ultimately, the picture has to be good.”

In a recent conversation with Filmfare, Ibrahim opened up about Sharmila Tagore’s reaction. He shared, “She saw it. Like we were talking earlier about how it is tougher now than it was earlier. I’m sure my dad has his views on how he found it hard being my grandmother’s kid… and my grandmother was a big name. She was a very big superstar. So my dad had that pressure. And I think my grandmother saw him not doing so well in his first few movies.”
