Karan Johar celebrates mother Hiroo Johar’s 82nd birthday with a heartfelt tribute

Karan Johar's mother, Hiroo Johar, turned 82 on March 18. To mark the occasion, the filmmaker shared throwback pictures along with a heartfelt note, expressing his gratitude to her.

Sharing an emotional post, Karan expressed his appreciation for having such a remarkable mother, writing, “My mom turns 82 today… I only have gratitude in my heart to the universe for giving me the privilege of being born to her. She grounds me everyday (“they gave you an award ??? Why ??) she centres me (“ be grateful … it could go away some day”) She reprimands me chapter 1 (“what are you wearing Karan ???”) she reprimands me chapter 2 (“you are always on the phone!!!!”) BUT she is my world, my galaxy and my big love story with and of life. love you Mama.”

On the work front, Karan Johar last directed the romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.

Tamannaah Bhatia, at the trailer launch of her upcoming Telugu film Odela 2 in Mumbai on Tuesday, opened up about facing a tough phase in her life.
