Ishaan Khatter calls Zeenat Aman ‘one of my favourite people’ while working on The Royals; says, “We had the loveliest time together”

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter recently shared his experience of working with legendary actress Zeenat Aman in Netflix’s upcoming web series, The Royals. In a conversation with IANS, the Dhadak actor expressed his admiration for the veteran star and revealed how she quickly became one of his favorite people.

“So, as if she wasn’t already, but from a distance she quickly became one of my favourite people in the world. And I think I’m very happy to report that we had the loveliest time together. But beyond that, she is a screen icon,” Ishaan said. Talking about Zeenat Aman’s presence in the series, Ishaan further added, “She’s someone that people so desire to see because she brings a grace that only she can, and I’m happy to say that you’ll get a lot of Zeenat Aman with a lot of fun in The Royals.”

The Royals is an eagerly awaited Netflix web series that features Bhumi Pednekar who will be playing a boss lady in this romantic comedy. The series follows the clash between an entitled prince and a tech startup entrepreneur, exploring their opposing worlds in a contemporary fairy-tale setting. With a mix of grandeur and modern-day drama, the show promises an exciting storyline enriched by stellar performances.

The series marks another major collaboration for Ishaan, who has been making a mark with diverse roles in Indian and international industries. Zeenat Aman, a veteran known for her timeless elegance and iconic roles in films like Don, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, and Satyam Shivam Sundaram, will feature in a royal avatar.
