Siddharth praises Aditi Rao Hydari’s ‘gajagamini’ walk in Heeramandi; says, “She just walked away from the camera and the Internet broke”

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth are among the most adored celebrity couples, often setting relationship goals with their constant support for each other. In a recent interview, Siddharth praised Aditi’s elegant ‘gajagamini’ walk in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, admitting he could never pull it off. Aditi playfully responded that she would make him try it. She portrayed Bibbojaan in the series and flawlessly performed the ‘gajagamini’ walk during a sequence with Nawab Wali, played by Fardeen Khan.

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter India, Siddharth praised Aditi for flawlessly executing the ‘gajagamini’ walk in Heeramandi. He remarked, “I mean, she just walked away from the camera and the Internet broke. I can’t do that. Not that…I’m not going to try.” In response, Aditi jokingly said, “That’s it! Now I’m going to make you do this.”

Siddharth also revealed that Aditi often tries to convince him to make reels, despite his reluctance. “Oh God, no! Then she will tell me do some reel. This one time I let my guard down, she will come and say ‘Siddhu..’ and I’m like ‘Yes?’ She says ‘come, let’s do a reel. I’m like ‘No, I don’t want to,’” he shared. Aditi laughed, pointing out that he has only ever made one reel with her.

In the same interview, Siddharth revealed that for 20 years, he was often told he was too attractive for certain roles. When it was noted that Aditi had faced similar remarks, he responded, “So, I ran away from it. She accepted it and became the most beautiful woman in the world. I think it’s two different approaches.” Aditi blushed and called him biased, to which Siddharth playfully replied, “What? Why would your husband, who’s gonna live with you for the rest of your life, be biased?” leaving everyone in laughter.

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth got married on September 16, 2024, in a private ceremony at a historic 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy. The intimate wedding was attended only by family and close friends. They later hosted a second ceremony in Rajasthan, celebrating with their colleagues from the film industry.
