Sky Force trailer launch: Debutant Veer Pahariya touches Akshay Kumar’s feet, expresses heartfelt thanks to Sara Ali Khan

On January 5, the much-awaited trailer of SkyForce was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai, giving fans a thrilling peek into the intense and action-packed world of the film. Following the trailer release, debutant Veer Pahariya shared his excitement and gratitude with the media. In a heartwarming moment, as senior actor Akshay Kumar invited him to join the stage, Veer Pahariya showed his respect by touching Akshay’s feet, a traditional gesture of reverence.

Veer, who is making his acting debut in SkyForce, plays a pivotal role in the film, which revolves around India's first deadly airstrike during the 1965 India-Pakistan Air War. The trailer revealed high-octane action, with Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya playing Indian Air Force officers. However, it was the behind-the-scenes bond between the cast members that also grabbed attention during the event.

Veer Pahariya's Heartfelt Thanks to Sara Ali Khan The press interaction also brought up the topic of Veer Pahariya's working relationship with his co-star, Sara Ali Khan. Veer, who has a past romantic relationship with Sara, shared that she was incredibly supportive during the filming of SkyForce. He expressed his appreciation, stating, "She was very supportive. In SkyForce, Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan play husband and wife, adding an emotional layer to the action-driven narrative. The film also features a stellar cast, including Akshay Kumar, who takes center stage in a pivotal role as a fierce IAF officer. Film's Patriotic Backdrop and Action-Packed Plot SkyForce is set against the backdrop of the 1965 India-Pakistan Air War, and the trailer showcases the gripping and patriotic theme of the film. Akshay Kumar’s character delivers a powerful warning to Pakistan, signaling India’s first air strike. However, the action takes a dramatic turn as Veer Pahariya's character goes missing during the mission. The Indian government believes that Veer is still alive, and his disappearance becomes a focal point of the film’s intense narrative.

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the film is scheduled to release on January 24, 2025.
