Vivek Agnihotri drops BTS pics from The Delhi Files; reveals how his team is ‘relentlessly working to uncover the hidden truths of history’
Marking the third film in the ‘Files’ trilogy after Tashkent Files and Kashmir Files, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is currently busy prepping up for The Delhi Files. Yet again promising to tackle complex and unspoken chapters of India’s past, the director is currently immersed in the making of this project and is shooting in the capital for the same.
Sharing a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of The Delhi Files on his Instagram handle, Vivek posted, “Our team is relentlessly working to uncover the hidden truths of history for the people of India.”

Meanwhile, producer Abhishek Aggarwal also shared some photos from the sets of the film and along with that he also penned a note that said, “In the presence of the master creator @vivekagnihotri Ji himself! For me, the true reward of being involved in movie projects isn’t the box office numbers—it’s the invaluable time spent and the profound lessons learned from witnessing cinematic visionaries like Vivek Agnihotri Ji orchestrating their universe. I’m simply a small part of this grand vision!”

Agnihotri’s previous works, such as The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files, have received widespread acclaim for their fearless exploration of historical events with The Kashmir Files also making achieving commercial success at the box-office. The Delhi Files is expected to follow in the same vein, exploring yet another pivotal and controversial episode in India’s history. While the details of the film remain under wraps, fans and cinephiles are already abuzz with anticipation.
The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter will be directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and Jointly produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal. The film, presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal & I Am Buddha productions, will release worldwide on August 15, 2025.
