Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War to feature 80s disco set starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal: Report 

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has created a stunning 80s disco set for his upcoming film Love & War featuring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The elaborate sequence was recently filmed at Studio 2 in Film City, Goregaon, showcasing Bhansali's renowned attention to detail and visual spectacle.

Behind the Scenes: A Dance Floor of Dramatic Contrasts A report by Mid-Day quoted a crew member providing exclusive insights into the intricate scene. "The set has been designed to replicate an '80s disco. Sanjay sir wanted a setting that was both nostalgic and fantastical. The scene sees about 30 soldiers enjoying their time on the dance floor as retro songs, including Laila main Laila, play in the background," the source revealed. Intense Emotional Landscape Amidst Disco Beats Contrary to the vibrant dance floor backdrop, the scene captures a deeply emotional moment between the lead characters. "In contrast, Alia and Vicky's characters are seen having an intense conversation, as they share the inner turmoil they are going through," the crew member added, highlighting the film's nuanced narrative approach. Alia Bhatt's Dedicated Preparation The actress has committed significant time to the project, with sources revealing her intensive preparation. "Alia has been rehearsing intensively, ensuring she is in tune with her character in Love & War," a source shared. She has allocated 10 days to the current schedule, with plans to return to another project in early December.

It is worth noting that Love & War marks Bhatt’s second collaboration with Bhansali following the critically acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), raising expectations for another powerful performance.
