Parineeti Chopra receives heartfelt handmade painting from mother for 1st wedding anniversary with Raghav Chadha

Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha have been relishing their best moments since tying the knot last year. The couple celebrated a year of marital bliss in September, sharing glimpses of their beach getaway with fans. Now, Parineeti has received a heartfelt surprise from her mother, Reena Chopra, who marked their one-year wedding anniversary by gifting the couple a special handmade painting.

The painting, created by Parineeti Chopra's mother, Reena Chopra, beautifully replicates their roka picture, capturing the heartwarming moment when Parineeti and Raghav Chadha clasped fingers. Parineeti proudly shared glimpses of the artwork on Instagram, giving a special shoutout to her mom. In one photo, she posed with the gift alongside her husband, while in the second, she shared a close-up of the stunning painting.

In the caption, Parineeti Chopra expressed her gratitude and said, “The greatest artist, my MOM ladies and gentlemen! Can you believe how accurate it is? Right down to every little detail. This painting is so much more than just a piece of art, it’s a reflection of your love for the both of us. This is going to have a special place of honour in our home. Thank you mom!"

Parineeti Chopra also shared the same pictures on her Instagram Stories. For the photo, the actress wore an ethnic ensemble featuring a navy blue top and a long skirt, which she paired with a multi-coloured coat. Raghav Chadha looked dapper in an all-black outfit and wore a bright smile.

Unsurprisingly, Parineeti Chopra’s heartfelt post received reactions from both her mother, Reena Chopra, and Raghav Chadha, who likely shared in the joy of the thoughtful gift and the special moment.

In the comments, Reena Chopra wrote, “Oh my God!! Thank you!! I think I was most deeply, emotionally involved in this cos for me it was not a painting… it was what it means to us… a depiction of love and togetherness.. a depiction of what you both mean to us! I have no idea if I managed to do justice to it but my heart lies within the brushstrokes!! May this be a reminder to always hold each other’s hand and love each other for eternity. Phew!!! Thanks for liking it. Love you both!”

Raghav Chadha, on the other hand, commented, “Hello – now we all know where Pari gets her artist genes from…the apple truly doesn’t fall far from the tree! Thank you so much for the most amazing anniversary gift ever!”

Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party member Raghav Chadha got ‘rokafied’ on May 13, 2023, and later took their relationship to the next level by marrying on September 24, 2023, in a private ceremony at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, where she played the role of Amarjot Kaur, the wife of Diljit Dosanjh’s character.
