Vikrant Massey meets Sri Sri Ravi Shankar amid reports of him featuring in the spiritual leader’s biopic

Not too long ago there were reports about a film being made on the global spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. It was being said that Mahaveer Jain was keen on producing a film on the acclaimed guru and it was also expected to star Vikrant Massey. Amid these reports, Mahaveer’s wife Neetu Jain have taken to social media to share details of their family hosting the spiritual guru at their residence and it was also attended by Vikrant.

In a recent post, Neetu Jain has shared a series of photos where Vikrant Massey along with a few guests are seen attending a session with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. “Only the heart can speak or hear that which is authentic.”, she captioned these images and concluded it with heart emojis. She also tagged Vikrant along with producer-filmmaker Anand L Rai who was also present during this visit.

Meanwhile, a source close to Bollywood Hungama, has opened up about Vikrant discussing a film based on the spiritual leader with Mahaveer Jain. “Vikrant Massey is one of the most versatile actors of today’s times and the makers felt that he’ll be ideal to play the main lead. Vikrant, too, was very excited when he was offered the part and was very thankful that he was considered for it. The talks between the actor and the makers are in advanced stages,” the source said.

The film in question draws inspiration from the remarkable life of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a global spiritual leader and humanitarian known for his unwavering commitment to peace. It will focus on Gurudev’s successful intervention in Colombia's brutal 52-year civil war, resolving the conflict without resorting to violence. The source also added that the film will be made in English and Spanish. It is reportedly meant for a global audience and will be dubbed in various international and Indian languages.
