Anant Ambani–Radhika Merchant Wedding: Groom gifts Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and few of his close friends limited edition Rs. 2 crores Audemars Piguet watch as token of love

Anant Ambani, son of India's richest man Mukesh Ambani, tied the knot with Radhika Merchant in a grand ceremony on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The wedding, dubbed the “wedding of the decade,” was a star-studded affair filled with opulent details and heartwarming moments.

Guests arriving for the wedding were treated to a unique spectacle during the groom's baraat procession. Actors Arjun Kapoor and Meezaan Jafri donned customized kurtas that playfully declared their support for the groom. Kapoor's kurta sported the message “Mere yaar ki shadi hai” (It's my friend's wedding!), while Jafri and others' declared “DDC (Dudh Ke Dhule Hue Chokre)” (The Milk-Washed Boys).

The guest list boasted of who's who of Bollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, and international celebrities like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra, and Nick Jonas. Reports suggest that Anant Ambani's generosity extended to his groomsmen as well. As a token of appreciation, he gifted them each a limited edition watch – the same Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar, valued at a whopping Rs. 2 crores each. The watch features a 41mm 18k rose gold dial with dark blue sub-dials and a sapphire crystal, signifying the luxurious nature of the event.

For the Jaimala ceremony, the groom himself opted for a custom-made ensemble designed by renowned Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi. One specific accessory managed to steal some of the attention – Anant's magnificent brooch. Featuring an impressive emerald and diamond design, the piece showcased a panther crouched on a large boulder-shaped emerald weighing a staggering 720 carats. This exquisite creation by Heeramaneck & Son was specially designed to reflect Anant's love for animals. The Zambian emerald was meticulously cut to a remarkable 720 carats, perfectly complemented by a crouching panther crafted from the highest quality diamonds. Anant had previously worn the same brooch for his garba night, adding a personal touch to the wedding festivities.

The wedding celebration extended beyond July 12. A 'Shubh Aashirwad' ceremony was held on July 13, followed by the grand wedding reception, or 'Mangal Utsav,' scheduled for July 14.
