The Karan Johar directorial, starring the dynamic duo of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, not only emerged as a box office hit but also garnered critical acclaim for its heartwarming tale, stellar performances, and foot-tapping music.

As the film completed its first anniversary, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the love and support it received. Accompanying her heartfelt note were enchanting behind-the-scenes glimpses, including the making of the iconic ‘What Jhumka’ song and a heartwarming shot from the film's final sequence. One of the film's standout features was its soulful music, composed by the maestro Pritam and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The songs complemented the narrative and became instant chartbusters, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the cinematic experience.

The film's plot revolves around the contrasting worlds of Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer Singh) and Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt), who fall deeply in love despite their differing backgrounds. They embark on a three-month home exchange to bridge the gap between their families, leading to a whirlwind of comic and emotional moments.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, Kshitee Jog and Anjali Anand.
