The Great Indian Kapil Show: Kartik Aaryan turns guest for the season one finale along with his mother; latter drops several truth bombs about her son

Kartik Aaryan, who is currently receiving a lot of compliments and appreciation from industry insiders and audiences for his intense performance in Chandu Champion, turned guest for The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, as the curtains will be closing on the first season. With the chat show marking its finale episode, adding a unique twist to it is also Aaryan’s mother Mala Tiwari who will be making an appearance with her son for the first time on the show.

Recently, the channel unveiled a promo of the same of the upcoming episode on social media and audiences are going gaga over the ‘savage’ avatar of his mother Mala Tiwari. The interesting teaser featured Kartik’s mom dropping major truth bombs about her son, so much so that Kartik ends up pleading her saying, “Kuch toh positive bol do (say something positive at least)”. Furthermore, the promo also gives a glimpse of Kartik’s mother interviewing ‘girls’ to be his ‘potential brides’ wherein she confessed that her desire to have a doctor daughter-in-law.

About The Great Indian Kapil Show

After featuring a variety of guests from Akshay Kumar to Ed Sheeran, The Great Indian Kapil Show will now be completing its first season on the streaming platform Netflix. The show, which also features Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Archana Puran Singh, among others, is expected to have been renewed for a second season and will be returning soon. Meanwhile, the Kartik episode will be dropping on June 22, Saturday at 8 pm.

Details about Chandu Champion

Based on the life of Muralikant Petkar, Chandu Champion features Kartik Aaryan in the role of an aspiring and ambitious athlete who wants to mark in the Olympics. The film is a biographical sports-action drama directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It released in theatres on June 14.
