Shilpa Shetty wraps up KD - The Devil, film marks her return to Kannada cinema

Shilpa Shetty's back in Kannada cinema after a long hiatus, and she's celebrating the wrap-up of her film KD - The Devil in style. On Thursday, Shilpa took to Instagram and shared a hilarious video announcing the completion of shoot. Ditching her wig with glee, Shilpa, dressed in a stunning red saree, bangles, and mangalsutra, radiated pure joy. The light-hearted video captures her celebrating with the crew, hinting at a fun and positive filming experience.

Shilpa said in the video, "KD is the film to watch, and one of my most favourite roles, Satyavati, is here... Yay! KD is complete, guys!" Sharing the video, Shilpa wrote in the caption, "It's a wrap for #KDTheDevil - Part One. Can't wait for you to see Satyavati in action. All set to be yours this December."

Shilpa Shetty revealed the first look at the flick in March. Her outfit in the poster evoked retro magic. Sharing the picture, Shilpa had written, "On this auspicious day of NEW beginnings, I'm thrilled to share with you a NEW character entering the war in #KD's battlefield as Satyavati."

Previously, the creators of KD – The Devil teased fans with a new cast member. Director Prem, too, released a poster showing a portion of a saree and wrote, “A war is between kingdoms. And kingdoms need a powerful 'Satyavati'. Get ready to welcome Satyavati on March 22 at 11:31 AM! A stalwart enters KD's battlefield.”

KD - The Devil also has Sanjay Dutt in a significant part. Shilpa Shetty had previously worked in the Kannada film industry. She also appeared in the 1998 film Preethsod Thappa, Ravichandra's Ondagona Baa, and the 2005 film Auto Shankar. According to reports, KD - The Devil is set in the late 1960s and 1970s. Dhruva Sarja plays a gangster in the film, which also features Ravichandran.
