Bhumi Pednekar's sister Samiksha REACTS strongly on plastic surgery accusations on social media

Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar's sister Samiksha Pednekar recently shut down a troll on Instagram who accused the Pednekar sisters of undergoing plastic surgery. This isn't the first time Bhumi has faced such comments online. However, this time Samiksha decided to defend them both with witty replies.

The incident unfolded when Samiksha shared a video on Instagram featuring herself and Bhumi getting ready, dressed in traditional outfits. The caption read, "Me and my best friend." One user commented, implying they looked similar due to plastic surgery. Samiksha's response was simple yet effective, "Or same parents? Maybe?"

Another comment referencing the song "Life in Plastic, It's Fantastic" was met with a quick "What plastic?" from Samiksha. She even addressed a user who mistakenly called Bhumi "Bhumika," replying with humour, "I don’t know who Bhumika is but?"

While Bhumi has carved a successful path in Bollywood, Samiksha has chosen to stay away from the limelight. However, the sisters are often seen together at events and social media, with Samiksha keeping fans updated with their lives.

Bhumi's latest project was the OTT release Bhakshak in February. She has a busy slate ahead, including the upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi alongside Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. Bhumi will also make her web series debut in the thriller drama Daldal, where she will play a cop named Rita Ferreira.
