While she has acted with the likes of Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, Kartik Aaryan, among others is currently gearing up for her next with Vijay Deverakonda, titled Family Star. The actress recently answered a few candid questions about herself to a magazine, where she opened up about missing out on working with some of the biggest actors in the industry.

In an interview with Exhibit Magazine, Mrunal Thakur was asked to choose an actor or actress she would have liked to collaborate from any era of Bollywood, for a dream project. Mrunal was more than happy to choose the likes of yesteryear actress Smita Patil and popular actor Irrfan Khan. “Wow that would definitely be Smita Patilji because I think she was way ahead of her time, and if I could also work with Irfan Sir, that would have be a crazy combination,” she told the magazine.

In another question, she was also asked to choose an onscreen couple from a classic love story who had an impact on her to which she responded with the names of the legendary actors Vyjayantimala and Dilip Kumar from the film Madhumati (1958). “I remember that film left such a great impact on me and my sister. We would keep roaming in the foyer, holding a candle and keep scaring each other. It's got a song 'Chadh Gayo Papi Bichua' and a lovely story,” she added.

Speaking of her next film Family Star, it marks her first collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda and is directed by Parasuram. The action-romance drama is slated for release on next week, on April 5.  Apart from this, the actress is also expected to be a part of a Hindi film titled Pooja Meri Jaan.
