Animal roars victorious at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards: Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol take home top honors!

The recently concluded Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards witnessed a roaring success for the blockbuster film Animal. In a night filled with cinematic celebration, Animal claimed several prestigious awards, solidifying its position as a force to be reckoned with in the Indian film industry.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his bold and impactful storytelling, received the esteemed Best Director award for Animal. Vanga's unique vision and ability to translate daring narratives into captivating experiences were recognized by the jury, highlighting his growing influence in the industry.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor, who consistently delivers powerful performances, added another accolade to his impressive repertoire. He was awarded the Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in Animal. This win reinforces Kapoor's remarkable ability to breathe life into diverse characters, regardless of their screen time.

Bobby Deol, who has experienced a career resurgence in recent years, received the Best Actor in a Negative Role award for his intense portrayal in Animal. This recognition underscores Deol's versatility and his ability to excel in complex and morally ambiguous roles.

Speaking of the film, released on December 1, 2023, it recorded a total of Rs. 556 crores in India and Rs. 917 crores globally. The film is expected to have a sequel titled Animal Park.
