Siddharth Anand reveals how Shah Rukh Khan reviewed trailer of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter

Considered to be one of the highly awaited ventures of 2024, Siddharth Anand is gearing up for the release of Fighter, which is scheduled to hit the big screens to mark the occasion of the 75th Republic Day. The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer is expected to feature high-octane action and a glimpse of the same was shared on the recently released trailer. Reacting to the same, Shah Rukh Khan, who worked with Siddharth in the blockbuster Pathaan, had some interesting comments to make and the filmmaker opened about the review given by the megastar in an interaction.

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Siddharth Anand revealed that Shah Rukh Khan gushed about the trailer of Fighter. The filmmaker said, “He loved the trailer. In fact, I met him the day it was released. He loved the look of the villain and the stunts. According to him, the CGI appeared very seamless. He was very impressed.” For the unversed, ever since the trailer has released, many of them have showered their love and some also believed that the filmmaker was highly influenced by the Hollywood franchise Top Gun. The film, also starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover as Indian Air Force officers along with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, is slated for release on January 25.

Besides this film, Siddharth Anand also opened up about the extensive success of Pathaan which he experienced and also asserted that it was not the kind of hoopla he expected. “There’s no way I could’ve imagined that Pathaan would be a mammoth success, even in my wildest dreams. It came at a time when Hindi films weren’t doing well, and Bollywood was written off. And then came Pathaan which shattered every norm and box office record – left, right and centre,” he added.
