EXCLUSIVE: Shilpa Shetty recalls being “clueless” about Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding with Kiara Advani during Indian Police Force shooting; Shershaah star reveals only Rohit Shetty knew about it

Get ready for an action-packed twist on the wedding season narrative! While Rohit Shetty's Amazon Prime Video series Indian Police Force promises high-octane thrills, the behind-the-scenes story has left tongues wagging. Turns out, co-stars Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi were completely clueless about Sidharth Malhotra's impending wedding to Kiara Advani, even as they shot scenes just two days before the ceremony!

This revelation dropped during an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, where the cast and director gathered to promote the much-anticipated show. Vivek, recalling Sidharth's dedication, remarked, “He rocked that uniform, man! There were days when he didn't eat. I thought he was fasting for Karwa Chauth but he was actually fasting to fit in the uniform.” Sid immediately stated that he wasn’t married at that time.

Shilpa, joining the banter, exclaimed, “I didn't even know he was getting married! I asked Rohit, 'Is Sidharth getting married?' And Rohit just went, 'Humko toh bataya nahin (He didn't tell us)!'" Sidharth added that Rohit was “the only person on the set” who knew about his wedding. On this, Shilpa said, “He has guarded all your secrets.”

For the unversed, Kiara and Sidharth tied the knot at Jaisalmer’s regal Suryagarh Palace in Manish Malhotra outfits in February last year. Coming back to the web show, helmed by Rohit, the action-packed series started streaming on Prime Video India on January 19.
