Bollywood Hungama Best of 2023: OMG 2 walks away with Best Story honour; Animal gets the Best Screenplay

2023 was the year when Bollywood bounced back. It made up for the year before that, which wasn’t favourable as several films became successful, out of which few became one of the biggest blockbusters. Along with box office success, the year also saw artistes from various departments of filmmaking shining. Hence, Bollywood Hungama has decided to honour them through this list of the Best of 2023.

The Part 2 of the Bollywood Hungama Best of 2023 will honour the writing and action talent from the previous year. Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 became a hit despite clashing with a biggie like Gadar 2 and acquiring an Adults certificate. The film has been adjudged Best Story for its maker Amit Rai. Ishita Moitra is given the Best Dialogue honour for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Pranay Reddy Vanga and Suresh Bandaru are being bestowed with the Best Screenplay award for the blockbuster Animal.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Atlee directorial Jawan stood apart for its action by its action directors Spiro Razatos, Anl Arasu, Craig Macrae, Yannick Ben, Kecha Khamphakdee and Sunil Rodrigues. The film has received the Best Action honour. Best Story - Amit Rai - OMG 2

OMG 2 is hailed as a bold subject narrated in a mature manner. The film achieved this largely due to its basic story, written by the film’s director Amit Rai. Best Dialogue - Ishita Moitra - Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

A major reason for the success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was its powerful yet subtle dialogues by Ishita Moitra. Best Screenplay - Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Pranay Reddy Vanga & Suresh Bandaru – Animal

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal struck gold for being entertaining despite its runtime of 3 hours and 23 minutes. The film’s screenplay played a major part in keeping the audience glued. Best Action - Spiro Razatos, Anl Arasu, Craig Macrae, Yannick Ben, Kecha Khamphakdee & Sunil Rodrigues – Jawan

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan boasted of some international level action. Apart from its powerful theme, the stunts played their role too in creating a major impact on the viewers.
