Bigg Boss 17: Kangana Ranaut wants Ankita Lokhande to win Salman Khan-hosted show but “not at the cost of her marriage”

As the Bigg Boss 17 finale approaches, the spotlight on contestant Ankita Lokhande intensifies after her mother-in-law visits in the family week. Soon after the promo was released, a section of netizens started calling out Vicky and his family’s “toxic” behaviours towards Ankita. Amid this, Kangana Ranaut, who collaborated with Lokhande on the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, has also broken her silence. 

In a recent Instagram post, Kangana shared a clip featuring Vicky Jain's mother expressing why Ankita deserves to emerge victorious in the reality show. The post comes amidst Ankita and Vicky's challenging journey, marked by heated arguments, family visits, and discussions about divorce.

The snippet of the Queen actress’ Instagram post read,  "Media doing their best to break the family, they won't show you how @lokhandeankita's saasuma (mother-in-law) is rooting for her. Reality shows come and go, but family is forever. I hope my friend @lokhandeankita wins but not at the cost of her marriage."

Coming back to the show, in a recent episode, tensions rose as Ankita expressed discomfort with Vicky's closeness to fellow contestant Mannara Chopra. The exchange revealed underlying issues. However, during the nomination task, Vicky nominated Mannara, which eventually irked her. Post the task, Vicky and Mannara had a heated argument. 

Host Salman Khan confirmed during the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode that the Bigg Boss 17 finale is set to air on January 28.
