Ankita Lokhande sends ‘virtual jhappi’ to fans as gratitude; describes her Pavitra Rishta to Bigg Boss 17 journey in her note

Starting her career as a television actress, Ankita Lokhande made her big debut on the small screen with the superhit TV soap Pavitra Rishta, alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Popularly known for her role as Archana Deshmukh in the show, Ankita went on to bag offers in films and now recently, everyone got a glimpse of her stardom after her entry in the Bigg Boss 17 house. While many expected her to bag the trophy, the actress was a part of the top 5 finalists on the show. After the show ended on Monday morning, Ankita took to her Instagram a couple of days later, to share a heartfelt video on her journey.

Through the video, Ankita Lokhande aimed at showcasing her professional journey which kicked off with Pavitra Rishta, followed by her journey in the Bigg Boss 17 house where the video featured different avatars and characteristics of the actress the audiences got to witness when she was locked up in the house with husband Vicky Jain. The actress also expressed gratitude towards her fans who supported her in the journey, including host of the show Salman Khan as she penned an emotional note along with the video clip she posted.

In the note she wrote, “Ek journey jo shuru hui thi Pavitra Rishta se, ab aur bhi zyada yaadgaar bann gayi ‘Rishton Wali Ladki’ ke pehechaan se! Mere liye haar ya jeet utni matter nahi karti, jitna aapka support karta hai aur aapke hi pyaar ne yaha tak pohochaya hai.” She added, “Ofcourse there were ups and downs...few left, few stayed but you guys stood by! Thank you so much to each and every one of you for supporting & loving me. All the #AnkuHolics, thank you is a very short word for the efforts and love y’all poured in, but a virtual jhappi for you guys. Special thanks to @beingsalmankhan for your sweet words. Ankita Lokhande was among the top four contestants when she got eliminated. She was succeeded by Mannara Chopra and Abhishek Kumar who were the two runners-up for the show whereas Munawar Faruqui ended up bagging the trophy for Bigg Boss 17.
