Milap Zaveri reflects on his 22-year journey in Bollywood; see post

Renowned filmmaker Milap Zaveri recently shared a heartwarming reflection on his 22-year journey in the world of Bollywood. Accompanied by throwback pictures that span his career, Milap expressed gratitude for the incredible experiences and friendships he has cultivated along the way.

In his poignant caption, Milap quoted lyrics from a famous song, “Haste haste kat jaaye raste zindagi yoon hi chalti rahe…Khushi Mile ya gham, badlenge na hum, duniya chaahe Badalti rahe,” capturing the essence of life's unpredictable journey.

He took a stroll down memory lane, recalling how he embarked on his Bollywood voyage. He wrote, “Haste haste kat jaaye raste zindagi yoon hi chalti rahe…Khushi Mile ya gham, badlenge na hum, duniya chaahe Badalti rahe…What a journey it’s been till now. 22 years almost. From a teenager who began to work on #JhankaarBeats with @sujoyghoshofficial to bagging the cult and life changing #Kaante with @_sanjaygupta I can only be grateful for the charmed beginning I had in this magical world of movies. I don’t know anything but seeing movies, making movies, loving movies. And I’m so fortunate to be doing what I’m whether it’s writing or directing! Over the years so many people believed in me, picked me up when I fell, gave me hope and courage to face the failures as well as rejoice the successes.”

He also credited several stalwarts and stars, including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and his close friend Riteish Deshmukh, for their unwavering support and guidance. He added, “Some turned out to be fair weather friends but friends none the less while some like @riteishd @geneliad @shaadrandhawa @tusharhiranandani became my pillars! I had amazing teachers like Sanjay Gupta, David sir, Induji, @nikkhiladvani @mohitsuri and a cheerleader/sister like @onlyemmay I wrote comedies, gangster dramas, love stories, action films, thrillers and so much more. The most important lesson I learnt was that always be good to people in your good times or bad. Always smile and respect your colleagues. I had such stalwarts and stars like @anilskapoor and @duttsanjay encouraging me always while my best friend in this industry @riteishd always being my greatest strength and biggest critic! My sethji as I call him is as much a part of my heart and soul as @gourizaveri Mehaan, my family, @abkhatau and @shaadrandhawa Along the way there were many life changing moments.”

Talking about Bhushan Kumar, he wrote, “The biggest being #SatyamevaJayate Bhushan sir I will always be grateful to you along with @shivchanana @tseries.official @emmayentertainment @madhubhojwani @nikkhiladvani and @onlyemmay I can never repay @thejohnabraham my Hulk, @minnakshidas who got me to him and @bajpayee.manoj who changed my life by agreeing to be my Veer and Shivansh. The journey continued with the amazing @sidmalhotra @tarasutaria @rakulpreet @norafatehi And the journey continues so #ThankYouForComing I nominate @divyakhoslakumar @onlyemmay @shaadrandhawa to tell their story! @ektarkapoor @rheakapoor @bhumipednekar @mushtaqshiekh.”
