Coming to Mission Raniganj, as the release date draws nearer, fans across the globe eagerly are waiting to witness Akshay Kumar donning the avatar of yet another real-life hero as Jaswant Singh Gill. Scheduled for release on October 6, Mission Raniganj promises to be an ode to heroism, based on the real-life incident of the Raniganj Coalfields Collapse of 1989 that shook West Bengal. Over 60 mine worker were trapped underground during this accident but survived because of Jaswant Singh Gill who fought tooth and nail to save them.
