Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cheers for husband Abhishek Bachchan as Ghoomer releases

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fulfilled the perfect wife duty as she was recently seen cheering for husband Abhishek Bachchan. Readers would be aware that this week saw the release of Saiyami Kher, Abhishek Bachchan starrer Ghoomer, which revolves around an aspiring cricketer, who struggles to make it big in sports after becoming paraplegic. While many from the industry have showered their love on it after watching the movie, it is wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has taken to social media to give a shoutout to her husband.

Directed by R Balki, Ghoomer features Abhishek Bachchan in the role of an alcoholic former cricketer and recently Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen cheering for the actor on Instagram. She posted a video which is a series of montages from the film’s trailer and although she didn’t write anything in caption, she posted a bunch of emojis which ranged from heart to evil eye to star emojis. While Abhishek reacted to the video by dropping a heart emoji, fans of the two actors couldn’t stop gushing over their love and many of them took to the platform to comment on the post.

“That wife's immense love for her hubby,” said one of the fans whereas another one added, “Beautiful couple aish and Abhishek”. Amid these comments, there were also a few Junior Bachchan fans who saw the film and also appreciated the subject as well as the actor’s performance. On the other hand, Ash fans have been requesting the actress to make a comeback on the big screen. For the unversed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s epic fantasy drama Ponniyin Selvan alongside an ensemble South star cast.

Coming to Ghoomer, the film also featured Shabana Azmi, Ivanka Das, Angad Bedi, among others along with Abhishek’s father Amitabh Bachchan in a special cameo. The film released on August 18.
