Cannes 2023: Sara Ali Khan redefines elegance embracing the fusion of tradition and modernity in saree skirt and bralette

Setting new fashion trends and breaking barriers, Sara Ali Khan left the audience in awe on the second day of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. With her graceful presence and an ingenious twist to tradition, Sara donned a mesmerizing saree draped in a modern way, redefining elegance and showcasing her bold and creative fashion choices. Sara Ali Khan chose to embrace her Indian heritage while adding a contemporary twist to her ensemble. Her saree, crafted with exquisite fabrics and intricate detailing, gracefully hugged her silhouette. However, it was the innovative draping style that truly stole the show. Rather than the conventional pleats and pallu, Sara opted for a more fluid and artistic drape that showcased her confidence and fearless approach to fashion.

Sara's most recent costume was created by renowned designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, just like the lehenga. On Wednesday, Sara Ali Khan ventured outside in the town along the French Riviera to show off her fashion sense for a picture session. Sara donned an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree-inspired skirt and a black and white beaded bralette top. A halter neck blouse with many rows of pearls and black and white beads is included in Sara's Cannes Day 2 outfit. Her outfit was given an edgy edge with the plunging V neckline, fitted bust, and midriff-baring short length. She paired it with an off-white chamois satin saree-style skirt that had pleats on the front, an attached drape, a border decorated with black and white crystals and beads, and a trailing floor-sweeping train on the back.

Sara styled the ensemble with minimalist jewels, including a black and white layered pearl necklace, dainty ear studs, and high heels. Lastly, a side-parted messy chignon bun, bold winged eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, darkened brows, subtle eye shadow, rouged cheekbones, mauve lip shade, and dewy base gave the finishing touch.

On the work front, Sara Ali Khan is occupied with the promotions of her upcoming romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke in collaboration with Vicky Kaushal. Apart from that, she is involved in the films Ae Watan Mere Watan, an untitled project directed by Jagan Shakti, and Homi Adjania's Murder Mubarak.
