Pathaan actress Deepika Padukone reacts to Katrina Kaif aka Zoya’s ‘no spoiler’ message

While fans cannot wait to catch their favourite superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen, the entire industry too has been waiting with equal anticipation for the release of Pathaan. Leading lady of the film Deepika Padukone took to Instagram to share how industry insiders have been wishing her for the release of the film and she too wished everyone on this special day which she referred to as ‘Pathaan’ day. Amidst that, what caught our attention was that the actress reposted a post shared by Katrina Kaif last evening.

Readers would recall that last evening Katrina Kaif took to Instagram to wish the team of Pathaan in Zoya style. The actress had posted a photo of her action packed look from Tiger Zinda Hai, further adding, “My friend Pathaan is on a dangerous mission. It is very important in the interest of national security that you don’t reveal anything about this. You are all part of this classified mission now. – Zoya.” Reacting to this, Deepika Padukone reposted the same, adding an adorable gif of a cute bear, sharing flying kisses.

For the unversed, the spy action films Pathaan and Tiger franchise are both a part of the spy universe. Along with them, War featuring Hrithik Roshan too is said to be included in this ambitious world created by Aditya Chopra. Interestingly, Pathaan too is expected to feature a cameo by Bhaijaan Salman Khan.

Talking about Pathaan, the film that hits the big screens today, is being celebrated as a festival. Deepika also shared another post on her Instagram page which is a photo of different kinds of pastries, along with ‘Good Luck for Pathaan’ written on a plate.

Coming to the film, the spy action entertainer features John Abraham in the antagonist and is directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is slated to release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
