Anupam Kher’s Shiv Shastri Balboa marks comeback for Jugal Hansraj and Nargis Fakhri, see new poster

Anupam Kher’s upcoming light-hearted film Shiv Shastri Balboa will mark the comeback of the Mohabbatein actor Jugal Hansraj and Rockstar actress Nargis Fakhri. The last time the actor was seen in a feature film was in the Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani 2 (2016). On the other hand, Nargis’ last theatrical release was Amavas, which released in 2019. Following that film, she was seen in the Sanjay Dutt-starrer OTT movie Torbaaz.

As per the latest update, Shiv Shastri Balboa is scheduled to release in theatres on February 10. The news was shared by the veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his official Twitter page. He shared a new poster of the film and wrote, “ANUPAM KHER - NEENA GUPTA: 'SHIV SHASTRI BALBOA' ON 10 FEB... #ShivShastriBalboa - starring #AnupamKher, #NeenaGupta, #JugalHansraj, #NargisFakhri and #SharibHashmi - to release in *cinemas* on 10 Feb 2023… Directed by #AjayanVenugopalan... Produced by #KishoreVarieth.”

The new poster is sure to catch the attention of fans. It has Kher’s face morphed to the body of a muscular boxing player who is proudly displaying a belt won in a match. The poster also features a dog who is imagined to be saying, “Fata poster nikla…” The earlier poster of the film, which was released last year, featured Kher and the dog along with Neena Gupta. The film also stars Sharib Hashmi in a pivotal role.

Kher had a good last year with three of his films – The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2 and Uunchaai achieving success.
