EXCLUSIVE: Gehraiyaan actress Deepika Padukone opens up on the common reason for breakups; says "Infidelity could be one but I also think evolution"

Last week, the makers of Gehraiyaan unveiled the trailer of the upcoming film which stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa in leading roles. The film, directed by Shakun Batra, centers around modern day relationships and infidelity.

In her recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Deepika Padukone talked about many topics ranging from relationships to cooking. When asked about the most common reason for a breakup in relationships, the actress said, “Infidelity could be one, but I also think evolution." s

She further said, “A lot of times people just evolve. You start off somewhere, and they grow into being different people and then you realize one day that you’ve become two completely different people and that’s okay.”

Gehraiyaan premieres on Amazon Prime Video on February 12, 2022.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is also all set to appear in the Hindi remake of The Intern, starring Amitabh Bachchan, as well as Siddharth Anand's film Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan. She will also collaborate with Prabhas and Big B in Project K and will join Shah Rukh Khan for the film Pathan.
