Paresh Rawal explains why watching films on OTT can be TIRESOME: "You wonder, 'Har picture mein gun hai? Har picture mein drug hai'"; praises Laapataa Ladies: "It was similar to Ghunghat Ke Pat Khol but at least it was different"
Paresh Rawal was back in the news yesterday, May 29, when he said in a podcast that his issues with Hera Pheri 3 team had been resolved. In the same podcast, hosted by Himanshu Mehta, he also talked about why films and shows of OTT platforms, across languages and regions, are no longer impressing the audience the way they did before. Paresh Rawal explained, “With OTT, what has happened is that aap thak jaaoge. Earlier, we were like a kid in a candy store and we wanted to consume plenty of content. Now, you wonder, ‘Har picture mein gun hai? Har picture mein drug hai’. You get fed up. You start craving for content which relaxes you or has something different.” He added, “Sometimes, we remake the same stuff in Bollywood.
